What Level Up is

Free for every student and family

Level Up — Build the Future You is a faith-based student ministry of Faithful Central Bible Church. Students enroll as rising 8th graders and stay with their grade-level cohort through senior year. Spiritual growth, ministry participation, service, college and career preparation, and leadership development are all part of the journey. Every student chooses a pathway and earns points for participation. Pathway Leads and other subject-matter experts provide specialized guidance, while Advisor or Coach support is assigned based on student need and available capacity.

Launch & Triage

  • Connect students with specialized pathway expertise when needed

  • Attend the mandatory kickoff event
  • Finalize school and program lists
  • Begin Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) or SAT preparation

Application & Financial Aid Blitz

Submit high-quality applications

  • Write and revise essays
  • Submit UC, CSU and early applications
  • Take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and College Board CSS Profile
  • Attend workshops and review sessions

Four-Year College

College list, essays, applications, financial aid, comparing offers.

Pathway 2

Two-Year / Community College

Associate Degree for Transfer and Transfer Admission Guarantee programs, course planning, financial aid and enrollment.

Pathway 3

Military

Branch comparison, military aptitude test preparation, entrance processing and choosing a specialty.

Pathway 4

Trade / Vocational

Certification programs, campus visits, aid, applications and budgeting.

Pathway 5

Entrepreneurship

Idea to action, customer validation, a one-page business plan.

Pathway 6

Still Exploring

Career assessment, three pathway intro workshops, a first-step plan.

Financial Literacy

Money habits, aid, budgets and stewardship for every pathway.

Civic Engagement

Service, leadership and knowing how to move in your community.

Parent / Guardian Guidance

Families walk the process alongside their student.

Sign up and set your build

Add your photo, your grade and school, and where you're headed — university, community college, a trade, the military, or your own business.

Show up and earn points

Workshops, ministry participation, service, and advising with your grade-level cohort become part of your progress.

Watch yourself get built

Each thing you complete adds to your build. By the end of the year you can see everything that shaped you.
